The wines of Mt. Brave
2022 Cabernet Franc
"Big but balanced, bursting with black fruit and savory notes on a firm structure of fine-grained tannins. It starts with floral and black cherry aromas, then blackberry, graphite, tobacco leaf and mocha flavors that expand on the palate and linger in the finish. Drinkable now, but best from 2030."

2022 Zinfandel
Good winter rains at the end of 2021 and beginning of 2022 broke a three-year drought. A moderate spring followed. Summer weather was stable up until a very intense Labor Day heatwave—which was somewhat mitigated by mountain air in our estate vineyards. Light rains arrived mid-September. We harvested the Cabernet Franc on September 13 and the Zinfandel on September 21.

2013 - 2015 Malbec Vertical Collection
Malbec is deep-dark in color with velvety, mouthfilling texture that delivers lush fruit and mocha layer. Indigenous to southwestern France and now a household name courtesy of Argentina-where it thrives in the foothills of the Andes-Malbec could not be more at home on Mt. Brave Vineyard.
Zalto carafe and ground shipping are included with your set.
2021 Cabernet Sauvignon
The Cabernet Sauvignon opens with violet and ripe blueberry then deepens into a killer midpalate. Minerality and touches of graphite and herbs bring strength and complexity to this beauty.
2021 Merlot
Grown in a vineyard block surrounded by dense forest, this Merlot uniquely reflects the terroir of Mt. Veeder. Both sumptuous and delicately earthy, the wine offers up aromatics of dark cherry, blueberry, rose petal, and forest floor. Silky tannins carry each sip into incredible length.
2023 Restricted Proprietary White Wine
The inspriation behind this wine was to explore these often underappreciated varieties and show how the whole can be greater than the sum of the parts. Each variety plays a different role. This year the Chenin blanc was stellar and serves as the heart of the wine.
